Sage Care is a Y Combinator and AARP Agetech Collaborative-backed, preseed-stage vertical AI startup based in NYC & Miami, working with a growing roster of home care agencies across the country.

Sage Care offers a HIPAA-compliant CRM and client intake automation platform purpose-built for home care agencies. We combine a modern CRM with end-to-end intake automation, from initial inquiry to care plan creation, so agencies convert more leads with less manual effort. Sage Care integrates with leading agency management systems like WellSky and AxisCare, replaces legacy general-purpose CRM tools with a home-care-native alternative.

The Role

We're hiring a talented, motivated generalist Summer Intern to work directly with the CEO on strategy and operations. This is a high-ownership role at an early-stage startup. You'll get exposure to every part of the business and drive projects that directly affect how we win and serve customers. What You'll Do

Your work will span four areas:

• Account management & customer success.
  • Own relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Run onboarding conversations, and refine our client intake process to improve efficiency, speed to adoption, and satisfaction.
  • Drive increased platform utilization across existing accounts.
• Competitive & strategic market analysis. Conduct deep dives on competitor pricing, positioning, and product. Synthesize findings into recommendations that shape our go-to-market strategy.
• Internal operations. Identify friction in how we run the company day-to-day and build better workflows. Expect to touch everything from CRM hygiene to reporting to internal tooling.
• Marketing & sales support. Assist on marketing and sales initiatives, including representing Sage Care at industry events and conferences.

Who You Are

• Currently enrolled, or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program
• Comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the pace of early-stage startup work
• Strong written and verbal communication — you can talk to customers and write a clean memo. (AI tool use is encouraged as a supplement to, not a replacement for, critical skills)
